Pastor: J. Mark Biddy
Pastor Mark Biddy has been a member of Harvest Baptist Church since 1995 and has served in many capacities. Asst. treasurer, Youth Pastor, S.S teacher, Asst. Pastor, and has been our pastor since January 2005. Pastor Mark was saved at the age of seven at Philadelphia Baptist church in Alpharetta, GA. He surrendered to preach at the age of seventeen and has been used of God in many ways since. Pastor Mark’s wife Mandy is a wonderful servant of God and help tremendously with the ladies of our church and organizing special events. They have three wonderful children, Ashlyn, Jeb, and Teeb.
Asst. Pastor: Kenneth Armstrong
Bro. Kenneth Armstrong grew up in Lumpkin County and was saved at Harvest Baptist Church. Bro. Kenneth has been used of God greatly in teaching the adult Sunday School Class, serving as a deacon, church clerk, and the asst. treasurer. Bro. Armstrong is a great asset to the ministry of our church.
Youth Pastor: Scotty Baker
Bro. Scotty Baker has spent much of his life here at Harvest Baptist Church. He came up through the youth group when pastor Mark was youth Pastor. Saved at the age of 11 on Aug. 5, 1990, Bro. Scotty has spent most of his life serving God. He has a heart for young people and desires to see them fall in love with Christ and serve God with a true heart. He is married to Chrissy who is our church pianist.
Music Director: Richard McGaha
Bro. Richard McGaha came to Harvest Baptist in late June of 2008. An extremely accomplished musician and great song leader Bro. Richard is a real blessing to us. Bro. Richard began to study music at the age of eight years old. He was saved at age nine on July, 30, 1968. After he was saved it was as if a veil had been lifted and God took over his mind and hands. From that point on, God began to develop him for the ministry of Gospel Music. He began playing for his first quartet, the Christianaires at the age of thirteen. He studied music during this time under Dr. Marlon Thomas. Later Bro. Richard had the privilege of studying voice and quartet under Dr. Leroy Abernathy. During this same time period Bro. Richard continued to study private piano at the Atlanta School of Music. In early 1981 God put him in the ministry of directing the choir at Victory Baptist Church under Bro. J.B. Jordan. This is where God grew Bro. Richard in the ministry of Church music. Bro. Richard served at Victory Baptist Church until the year 2000 when God moved him to Sharon Baptist Church. Bro. Richard served there for seven and a half years. In June of 2008 God put it in Bro. Richard heart to come and help us here at Harvest Baptist Church. Bro. Richard is married to a great servant of God named Sandy and the have a one daughter, Hillary.
Secretary: Jennifer Edmonson
Sister Jennifer grew up here at Harvest. She has been an active part of the ministry here in many areas. Teaching Sunday School, and working with children, playing the piano and singing are a few of the areas she has been a blessing to us. She is married to our Children’s director and Sunday School.
Children’s Ministry: Eric Edmondson
Bro. Eric Edmonson is one of the charter members of Harvest Baptist Church. He has a special talent at working with children. Bro. Eric has been involved with the ministry of our church in many different areas. He has served as song leader, choir director, S.S. Superintendent and Deacon. He also is the church grounds keeper. His heart and passion are much appreciated here at Harvest Baptist Church.
Mission Coordinator: Charles Fiscella
Bro. Chuck is originally from Iowa. He has been a resident here in Georgia for quite some time. Bro Church was saved here at Harvest Baptist Church. From the time he got saved God put a love for missions and missionaries in his heart. Every month Bro. Chuck reads dozens of prayer letters and prayer request, and then brings those needs before the church. The first Wednesday night of each month Bro. Chuck comes before the church and gives us an update on our missionaries. He currently support 63 missionaries around the world. Bro. Chuck is a very important part of the missions program and the over all program of the church.
